Lets Take a Look at Our Services..
ULTRASOUND SCAN
Ultrasound scans is used to create images of organs and structures inside your body in a painless way. This common test uses sound waves instead of radiations and in effect is harmless. Ultrasound scans or sonogram can be used to determine size, shape, consistency & abnormalities of organs, monitor an unborn baby, diagnose a condition, detect abnormal widening of blood vessels or guide a surgeon during certain procedures.
A small device called an Ultrasound Probe gives off high frequency sound waves which bounce off different parts of the body and creates echoes. These echoes are picked up by the probe and turned into a moving image which is displayed on a monitor during the procedure. The duration of Ultrasound scans is between 15 - 45 minutes. There are different types of ultrasound scans depending upon the part of the body being scanned. There are no risks from the Ultrasound scan as this procedures uses sound waves.
CT SCAN
CT scan is an imaging technique that uses X-rays to acquire detailed images of the inner parts of the body. It produces high resolution images which facilitates doctors in having nuances of the interior structure of the body. CT Scans are performed for a particular area of the body to acquire its finest details needed for diagnosis. Nodules or tumors generally not captured in X-ray are visualized in a CT Scan. CT Scan are recommended by doctors in cases of injuries to internal organs, problems with blood flow, strokes, cancer, bone damage etc. The reports are used to guide further treatments and monitor disease conditions. There is no risk involved in CT Scan as they are painless, quick and generally safe.
DIGITAL X-RAY
Digital X-Ray is a form of X-Ray imaging where digital X-Ray sensors are used to produce high resolution images. Digital X-Ray is one of the greatest technology advancement in medical imaging over the last decade as these are the core of diagnostic technology which help doctors to view the inside of the body without making an incision. X-Ray images can be immediately acquired, deleted, modified and subsequently sent to a network of computers. The report is generated in just few minutes after the procedure was performed. Digital X-Ray is prescribed by a medical practitioner if he needs to look inside your body to view an area where you are experiencing pain or to monitor the progression of a disease or to see the effect of a treatment. Some conditions that may call for an X-Ray include blocked blood vessels, tumors, enlarged heart, fractures, swallowed items, tooth decay, infections, arthritis etc. Digital X-Ray uses small amount of radiation whose exposure is considered safe for adults. But it is harmful for a developing foetus. Some Digital X-Ray procedures may use an iodine-based contrast material or barium to improve the visibility of specific areas.LABORATORY TESTS
Routine Laboratory Tests are those procedures which check a sample of your blood, urine or body tissues to analyze if the results fall within the normal range. All these routine tests are based on a range of results as the normal range differs from person to person depending upon many factors like age, sex, race, food habits, medicinal intake etc. Common Laboratory Tests include Complete Blood Count, Urinalysis, Pap Smear, Occult Blood Test, Cholesterol Level, Glucose Level etc. The results of these tests are analyzed by a medical practitioner to diagnose disease conditions, malfunctioning, plan or evaluate treatments, monitor diseases and compare previous conditions. A range of investigations are recommended during pregnancy also to analyze the health conditions of mother & the foetus. Also the procedure list of a heart patient is bit different from other category tests. We are dedicated in providing all kinds of routine lab tests with accuracy and quality in such a way to enable the medical practitioner to easily diagnose and treat.
COLOR DOPPLER
Color Doppler is a special ultrasound technique used to examine blood vessels. This procedure is based on the Doppler Principle where ultrasound waves reflect from the red blood corpuscles in the arteries & veins and these are evaluated for velocity and color maps of blood vessels are created. An ultrasound machine equipped with Color Doppler facilities is used for performing this procedure. This procedure is helpful in examining the heart, arteries & veins in abdomen, arteries & veins in upper & lower limbs, carotid arteries in the neck etc. Carotid Color Doppler (for checking arteries & veins in neck), Peripheral Arterial Color Doppler, Peripheral Venous Color Doppler (for detecting Deep Vein Thrombosis or DVT), Renal Doppler (for hypertensive & diabetic patients) etc includes some types of Color Doppler. Color Doppler provide visualization of blood flow and produces color image results which helps a doctor to clearly understand what is happening inside the body. This procedure involves no pain and sedatives.ECG
ECG is an important diagnostic tool routinely used to assess the electrical activity of heart. It shows the heart’s electrical activity on a screen as line tracings in which there a spikes & dips called waves. The variations in these waves help doctors to find malfunctions of heart. An ECG is recommended by a doctor in case of unexplained chest pain or pressure, to find the cause of heart disease symptoms, to find the thickening of heart walls, to check how well medicines work, to check how well mechanical devices like pacemakers are working inside heart, to check the health of heart when other disease conditions are present etc.
There is no potential risk involved in this procedure and is completely painless. ECG’s from normal healthy hearts have a characteristic shape. Any irregularity in the heart rhythm records changes in the shape of ECG. Three major types of ECG includes Resting ECG, Ambulatory ECG and Cardiac Stress Test. ECG reports are the bible of cardiologists to determine the treatments necessary to improve the condition of the patient’s heart.
NEUROSONOGRAM
Neurosonogram is used to take ultrasounds of patients brain and nervous system. This procedure is an excellent mode of finding intracranial pathology in the infant and newborn. Neurosonogram is required in every infant as disease conditions is highly incidental in neonates.
It helps in imaging features of intracranial hemorrhage include areas of increased echogenicity in the region of the germinal matrix, within the ventricles, or in the surrounding cerebral parenchyma. Many clinical questions can be resolved by optimally utilizing this imaging technique which provides the spectrum of the neonatal intracranium.
